Our stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Saratoga Springs Downtown was delightful! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main street with shops and restaurants. The location was excellent, very near all the restaurants and shops. I got a room with a balcony which was just nice to have for morning coffee.

In my wife’s opinion, the door keys were a bit frustrating to use, and it would be great if family-friendly dining options were available right at the hotel.

However, I found the air conditioning in my room ineffective, with a thermostat that wouldn’t go below 65 degrees, leaving me feeling too warm at night. The bathroom had mold in the shower, which was a turn-off, and the overall cleanliness needed attention—specifically with some dirty light fixtures. On top of that, the breakfast quality fell flat. the eggs were rubbery and uninspiring. Also, the pool area could use some maintenance as the drains appeared dirty, distracting from the otherwise relaxing atmosphere.

I couldn't get enough of this place! The pool and hot tub were clean and so relaxing-like a mini-vacation in my stay. Plus, the breakfasts were not just a meal. They were a feast! Fresh fruits, eggs, and delicious waffles to kickstart my day with a smile.

Had a great time staying here with friends! We enjoyed the indoor pool and great breakfast. We visited the Saratoga Gaming and Raceway and also had fun at Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom. Just a heads up, there are some homeless around the area, so we drove to places. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for a fun group trip!

However, I found out they have a strict 72-hour cancellation policy. I tried to cancel my reservation two days before but still got charged for one night.

the hotel is super close to congress park and numerous restaurants, making it easy to enjoy both nature and city vibes during my stay. i had a spacious room that was clean and comfortable, perfect for a solo traveler like me, but the elevator situation could use improvement as it can lead to long waits during busy weekends.
